BEDMINSTER, N.J. (PIX11) — North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) fighter jets had to intercept multiple aircraft near Bedminster on Sunday due to President Donald Trump’s presence at a LIV Golf tournament.
Video obtained by PIX11 News from a Jefferson Township resident shows the moment one of these small planes was chased down by an F-16 in restricted airspace.
Trump was seen by attendees riding in a cart with legendary golfer Gary Player.

NORAD confirmed multiple pilots violated a temporary flight restriction over Bedminster due to Trump’s attendance at the LIV Golf New York event at Trump National Golf Club.
The Jefferson Township resident, Joe Afflerbach, said, “You better get out of there” as he recorded the plane, which was quickly followed by an F-16 kicking into high gear to intercept.
NORAD said all aircraft were “safely escorted out of the area” and asked pilots to be aware of FAA temporary flight restrictions.
